This summer (2023) saw two performances of Benjamin Britten’s St Nicolas – a joyous and moving cantata about the life of the patron saint of North Walsham’s parish church. Both performances – in May at Southrepps and in June at North Walsham – were wonderful occasions but the evening at ‘St Nick’s’ was really special with a large and appreciative audience.
Come and Sing Faure’s Requiem
Norfolk Camerata will be hosting a ‘Come and Sing’ day this autumn at St Nicholas’s church in North Walsham on 4th November 2023.
Everyone is welcome to join the choir for a day of rehearsals culminating in a performance of Faure’s Requiem, one of the most popular works in the choral repertoire.
You don’t need to have previous experience of singing in a choir, An ability to read music would be helpful but not essential.
